Volunteering With RBP:
An Overview
It’s all too easy to ignore what lies beneath the waves. For decades, the world has overlooked the crushing toll humanity has exacted on our oceans—industrial overfishing, rampant pollution, rising temperatures, and the targeted plunder of vulnerable species have pushed marine ecosystems to the brink.
As a volunteer with Reef Buddy Philippines, you’ll dive into both the breathtaking beauty of Dauin’s reefs and the stark reality of human-driven destruction. Through hands-on scientific diving, you’ll grasp why safeguarding these waters is vital to countless interconnected ecosystems, and your direct contributions will drive tangible change. When you depart, you’ll carry forward as a passionate ambassador for the seas, inspiring others to protect the ocean that sustains us all.
